Philippians 4:6-8 in Rymne

by

When anxious thoughts start to appear

The way of God is not to fear

The act to put those thoughts away

Is don't be anxious, start to pray

When your feeling condemnation

Send it away through supplication

Make request filled with thanksgiving

Restores the mind to peaceful living

The peace of God, not understanding

Neutralizes stress' demanding

With peace in charge here's what to do

Set your mind on stuff that's true

Things of honor, pure and right

Lovely things create delight

Should bitterness your joy dilute

Consider things of good repute

Excellence is good to ponder

When your mind is prone to wander

Block the chaos of these days

With worthy thoughts you fill with praise.
